Irwin got a quote from CP and its a dozy. This is similar to last month during the opening of the new Golden Ears Bridge. Although the bridge was built with regional dollars through TransLink and a P3, Green insisted on thanking the two local MLA's for the money for the bridge.
Now we learn in yet another Green effort to grab headlines, he isolated CP Rail and pissed them off, breaking a long-standing cooperation that other like Mayor Peter Fassbender guard carefully. But Green charged ahead and tried to invoke his big puzzle revealed line again. What part of a public lease document is such a secret Mayor Green? We can tell you that you are far from a Sherlock Holmes.
"Mike LoVecchio, a CP spokesperson, said he is surprised Green has not contacted CP on this matter.Wow, how embarrasing is that!“First of all, the agreement is with BC Hydro, not the provincial government.” LoVecchio said that CP has not seen Green’s press release, nor has it heard from the mayor.
“It is fair to say Mayor Green has put a premium on public communication, but that doesn’t apparently include CP."

That would be E..B..A..R..A..S..S..I..N..G for sure but we as Township citizens are getting used to this and can't wait for his three year mandate to end. Even his buddies in Milner must be seeing through the shallow guize.
I WONDER WHAT THE OTTER CO-OP THINKS ABOUT HEAVY RAIL AS THE PICK UP THEIR GRAIN SUPPLIES FROM THE MILNER SIDING? I ALSO WONDER ABOUT THE BUISNESSES IN LANGLEY CITY WHO DEPEND ON HEAVY RAIL FOR THEIR SUPPLIES?I THINK IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO HAVE THRIR INPUT. THE CO-OP AND LANGLEY CITY BUISNESS PAY TAXES AND PROVIDE JOBS FOR OUR CITIZENS AND THEN THEY SPEND MONEY AND PAY TAXES IN OUR COMMUNITY. I PERSONALY CAN THINK OF NO WORSE TIME TO JEPORDISE ANY JOBS. PEOPLE WITH JOBS ALSO PAY THE TAXES THAT SUPPORT OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS AND OUR TOWNSHIP AND CITY EMPLOYES. ITHINK THE ECONOMY IS FAR MORE DIRE THAN OUR POLITICIAND ARE TELLING US. ONLY TIME CAN PROVE MY POINT.
Tricky Ricky probably cannot work his telephone and was not able to call the CPR.
Green still doesn't get it. He, relatively new in the mayor's job, still needs some qualified advice to keep himself from the self inflicted notion that leadership starts and ends with him. Pity he doesn't strive to seek it.
