Right now we have the biggest news story in Langley - Mayor Green censured. It started at 6:00pm last night. The Advance ran the story front page almost immediate. The Times? Have a look. See what we have been saying all along? --Ed

hard to argue a missing girl might be front page news...
It is interesting to note that the pictures of Green and Beck are side by side on the screen shot. What's with the Langley voters who elected these clowns?
More people should come out to vote next November to get rid of these incompetent people.
Just a clarification for Anonymous No. 1. We at the Advance moved our story of the missing woman aside after it had been up front for a considerable time, to make way for the Green story. It was still on the front page, but just to a reduced location. Sadly, the eventual update on that story was news that her body had been found. We never took either aspect of that story lightly – nor did we deem it appropriate to delay or downplay our story about the censure of Mayor Green.
Thank you Editor Groeneveld and we can also attest to the fact that The Langley Advance ran the story very prominently online and on the front page for some time before reducing it in size.
Both local newspapers should be commended for getting the word out and perhaps they influence the number of volunteers that came out to search and very possibly aided in her being quickly found, sadly deceased. This discovery did help provide closure for the family we are sure. Our thoughts go out to them.

What would you expect from Franky! He has been a greeny weeny supporter through and through and this is just further evidence of this!
